Whakatāne Hospital has been named as a location of interest linked to the Covid-19 Delta outbreak. The Bay of Plenty hospital’s emergency department was listed by the Ministry of Health between 2pm and 6.15pm on November 21. Earlier, the Kaitāia Town Swimming Pool was reported as a location where a person positive with Covid-19 had visited on November 16.
