Thanks to Covid-19, Taranaki travel agents are staring down the barrel of losing two years worth of income, along with coping with the uncertainty of what’s still to come. Last Wednesday, a group of New Plymouth travel agents met with New Plymouth MP Jonathan Young, of National, and his colleague Todd McClay, who is the party’s spokesperson for tourism and economic development, to voice their concerns about the state of the industry.
