Tirunelveli Collector Sandeep Nanduri said he would accord highest priority for taking government’s welfare schemes to the beneficiaries and making the district clean and green through sustained efforts. A detailed project report on the initiatives to be taken for making the district clean and green would be sent to the State Government for its approval. Mr. Venkatesh belongs to the 2009 batch and was posted as Assistant Collector (Training) in Madurai in 2010. Prior to his new assignment, Mr. Venkatesh (35), who hails from Hyderabad, worked as Deputy Secretary, Finance Department for four years, till recently. Earlier, Mr. Venkatesh held the office of Sub Collector in Nagercoil during 2011-2012 and was Additional Collector of Coimbatore during 2012-13.
