Nishchal Banskota, founder of Nepal Tea, wants to introduce tea lovers all over the world to the way tea is harvested and produced in Nepal. “Tea is not just a commodity for the people of Nepal but also a way of life,” he says. Nepal Tea, LLCStill, the tea tour, which takes place at the Kanchanjangha Tea Estate and Research Center (KTE-RC), is not for everyone, he admits. Participants will be working alongside tea farmers and experiencing the whole life cycle of tea. It’s also the First Organic Certified Tea Garden in Nepal established in 1984 and carries its own history and heritage.
