MANJUNG: Two Royal Malaysian Navy men are being remanded to facilitate a probe into the death of two navy sailors at the Sungai Wangi detention unit in Sitiawan on Sept 29. Magistrate Ainul Bashiirah Dona Don Biyajid ordered a seven-day remand until Oct 16 against the duo, aged 29 and 37. The men arrived at the Seri Manjung magistrate's court at 8.30am and were brought out an hour later. Police had earlier obtained a remand order on five men on Oct 1 and 2 to facilitate the investigation into the case. Two other navy men who were undergoing training at the unit then lodged police reports after being alleged assaulted by naval military policemen.
