NZ Defence Force employee 'unjustifiably disadvantaged' by email saga

Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters received an email from a Defence Force employee who says he did not send it. A man who claimed an email from his work account to Winston Peters was a "spoof" has lost his claim he was unjustifiably disadvantaged by the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF). He said he was not the author of the email and voiced a concern his email account may have been "spoofed", which indicated a situation where an e-mail account secretly impersonates another account. The day he received the decision letter was his last day of work due to his medical situation, but he still remained an employee of the Defence Force. They said his claim failed as he failed to establish he had been disadvantaged in his employment.
