more-inNLC India Limited (NLCIL) and National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Environmental Clean Technologies (ECT), Australia, for collaboration in research and development. P. Selvakumar, Director, Projects and Planning, NLCIL, V. Manoharan, General Manager/Centre for Applied Research and Development from NLCIL, N.K. Nanda, Director/Technical from NMDC Limited and Ashley Moore, CMD, ECT India, signed the MoU in the presence of A.M. Gondane, High Commissioner of India to Australia and representatives from the Australia India Business Council. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Selvakumar said it was desired that lignite should also be used for alternative purposes. These include a Master Technology Licence Agreement, Tripartite Collaboration Agreement and NLCIL, NMDC and ECT Services Agreements.
