Mr. Baijal also directed the officials to address “the urgent need for augmenting facilities” in forensic labs and prosecution. The L-G also emphasised the need for sensitising the investigating officers, particularly those dealing with cases of crimes against women and children. ‘Deal with trauma’“He noted that sensitive handling can help the victims deal with the trauma and assist the investigation so that it reaches its logical conclusion swiftly,” Raj Niwas said.
