more-inHitting out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said the country was missing an “educated PM” like former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Mr. Kejriwal, who had been a vocal critic of Dr. Singh’s Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government, said in a tweet, “People missing an educated PM like Dr Manmohan Singh [sic]”. He added that was “dawning on people now” that the Prime Minister should be literate. Mr. Kejriwal made the statements while sharing a media report about the falling rupee and uncertainty over investments in the country. On the other hand, president of the Delhi unit of the Congress, Ajay Maken, blamed Mr. Kejriwal for spreading lies about the Congress and bringing Mr. Modi to power in 2014.
