Share TweetBy Francis WakefieldDefense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana Monday said that the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) is now preparing for the potential super typhoon approaching the country. “And this will test on how effective the training of the NDRRMC is” Lorenzana said. Lorenzana also said the NDRRMC is also activating the national emergency responses in preparation for the super typhoon. Lorenzana also reiterated that they don’t want a repeat of Super Typhoon “Yolanda” which wrought havoc in the Visayas region killing thousands of people and destroying property.
