I love Chris, but I don’t want my parents to disown me. Falling in love with guy has however landed me in a dilemma because my parents want to disown me. I fell in love with a Christian man named Chris, and he has treated me better than all the other Muslim guys I have dated. I agreed to marry him but when I told my parents, they threatened to disown me as their daughter and that I would never receive their blessings if I married Chris. I had a friend who married a Christian guy and her parents disowned her, since then, she has never had peace of mind and she thinks of divorcing the man, so that she can reconcile with her parents.
