The arrested student has been identified as Farhan Ahmad, a resident of Deoria district. A BA second year student, Ahmad had called up Additional Director General (ADG) AK Prasad on July 6, 2017 and had threatened to blow up UP Vidhan Sabha building on August 15, 2017. On the basis of the shopkeeper's description of the buyer, Deoria police on Thursday morning nabbed Ahmad. The arrested student has admitted to making the threat call to the ADG.
