A motorcyclist has hit a fence on the Shenandoah Highway in the Tasman District. Police say the rider has reportedly suffered critical injuries. A helicopter is heading to the crash, on SH65 near Maruia. Motorists are warned that there will be delays while the scene is under examination. Police say the area is a communication black-spot so further information will be released when more is known.
