Person rescued after being trappen by lines down on truck in Hutt ValleyFAIRFAX NZ Emergency service at Manor Park, where power lines came down on a truckA man has been safely rescued after being trapped in a truck which has power lines on top of it north of Wellington. Emergency services were called to Benmore Cres, Manor Park in the Hutt Valley shortly before 9am on Thursday. It appears the wire fell down, but the truck did not hit the post. Supplied Emergency services have freed a man trapped in a truck on which power lines had fallen on. After being rescued, the man was taken away by ambulance.
