IPOH: Police have arrested a mother of three for drug trafficking.They picked up the 38-year-old, who was in possession of 3.06kg of syabu – kept in the form of teabags – and three litres of ethanol at a shophouse in the Kampar commercial centre.Perak Narcotics chief Asst Comm R. Ravi Chandran said the woman had been released from a rehabilitation centre in Batu Gajah on Jan 11.“She was arrested for trafficking drugs in Selangor in July last year,” he told a press conference here on Monday.ACP Ravi Chandran said the woman, who is unemployed, was found to have four previous records, all drugs-related.Her children are aged between 11 and 16.“She was also tested positive for methamphetamine," he said, adding that the value of drugs seized under her possession is estimated to cost around RM214,770.The suspect is currently under remand until Wednesday to assist in investigations under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
