The Montreal Impact exercised options for 11 players on its roster, the Major League Soccer club said in a release on Thursday. The Impact exercised options for goalkeeper James Pantemis, defender Jorge Corrales and midfielders Clément Bayiha, Mathieu Choinière, Ignacio Piatti, Samuel Piette, Romell Quioto, Amar Sejdic, Shamit Shome. The MLS club also secured designated player and midfielder Saphir Taïder’s permanent transfer for the next two seasons from Bologna FC. The Impact exercised its second six-month loan option for midfielder Lassi Lappalainen from Bologna FC through June 30, 2020. Goalkeeper Evan Bush, defenders Rudy Camacho, Jukka Raitala and Karifa Yao, midfielder Bojan, and striker Maximiliano Urruti, are under contract for next season.
