Police release graphic footage of intentional crash that killed 16-year-old in East York


Toronto police have released graphic video footage of what they call the intentional crash that killed 16-year-old Matthew Dreaver in East York last month. Toronto police have released security video of the Oct. 7, 2019, crash that killed 16-year-old Matthew Dreaver near Woodbine Avenue and O’Connor Drive. Police say Dreaver was intentionally run down from behind by the driver of a dark blue or black Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. The security-camera footage,shows the SUV driver running over Dreaver as his friend can be seen running to a nearby sidewalk. Police allege the driver fled from Cedarvale and Bracebridge avenues, going westbound on Bracebridge Avenue, northbound on Woodbine Avenue, eastbound on O’Connor Drive, then eastbound on St. Clair Avenue East.
