Prof Kimengi added: "Students will be required to be at the Campus starting at 8.00am for registration." The students went on rampage on March 2, claiming they had not been taught for two consecutive months. The students had demanded that the school management pays lecturers salaries for them to teach. According to the notice dated May 6, 2016, all students with fee arrears will be required to clear any outstanding balances before registration, while lectures will resume on Wednesday. In a notice to all first and third year students of School of Education at the Campus who were suspended over the protests, Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Isaac N. Kimengi directed that all students be at the Campus by 8:00am for fresh registration.
