Raqibul, who is the only Bangladeshi to have scored a triple-century in first-class cricket, now holds the Bangladesh record for best innings in both List A and first class cricket. The 29-year-old batsman’s blistering 138-ball knock helped him topple Tamim Iqbal’s record of 157, also scored in this edition. Mohammedan reached 339-9 in their chase, losing the game by 27 runs. He raced to his fifty in 30 balls and reached three figures off 62 balls before getting 150 off 107 balls. It was the fifth List A century by Raqibul, who played his last game for the Tigers in 2011.
