Christina Rowe has been named locally as the woman who was pulled out of the River Severn, Worcester, last night. The youngster, who was in her late 20s and originally from the Philippines, lived in Worcester's Cheviot Close, which police cordoned off yesterday. She was last seen on Monday receiving a parcel from a postman and is said to have been "really chipper and happy". "We have lived here for years and just keep ourselves to ourselves so don't really know anyone in the street." They said: "It's a very quiet close... not a lot happens and everyone keeps themselves to themselves.
