Alberto Salazar, who turned Farah into a world-beater after taking charge of his career in January 2011 and remained his coach until after his tenth straight global title in October 2017, has been found guilty on a series of charges brought against him as a result of a four-year investigation by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (Usada). Usada confirmed last night that both Salazar and Dr Jeffrey Brown, a Texas endocrinologist who acted as a medical consultant for the Nike Oregon Project, have been given four-year bans.
