Ramesh Kurupmore-inThe State-wide token strike called by the Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samiti (KVVES) on Tuesday in protest against the ‘faulty’ implementation of GST evoked mixed response in northern Kerala. The Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Samiti (KVVS), another merchant’s body, had not joined the protest. KVVES district general secretary Ashraf Moothedath claimed that the strike was total and complete in the State. In a related development, petrol bunks remained shut on Tuesday in protest against the daily revision of prices.
