The appointments were officially approved during the foundation's second executive board meeting at the State Guest House Jamuna on Monday. The statement said the foundation is a government-approved, non-political, voluntary, and charitable organisation. It initially aims to provide financial and human support to the families of martyrs from the July-August mass uprising. The foundation also seeks to offer employment opportunities or other suitable benefits to family members of the martyrs, alongside medical care and medications to those injured or disabled during the protests.
