Paul Sykes, the internet and property millionaire who was a major donor to Ukip, is planning to defect back to the Conservatives. Mr Sykes said last night that his goal had been to bring about the EU referendum and now that Britons had voted for Brexit, he believed that the Tories were in the best position to redefine the UK’s relationship with Europe. Writing in TheDaily Telegraph, he said that he would donate to Theresa May’s party only if she agreed to take Britain out of the single market and restore “full control of our borders and fishing rights”.…
