★★★★☆Aimed at an all-ages audience, iD is a big, slick and enjoyable piece of city-set circus-theatre. It was created in 2009 by Cirque Éloize, a Canadian company a few years shy of its 25th anniversary but has retained its freshness. The hip-hop dancing dotted throughout the production seems somewhat dated now and any plot threads are thin at best, but the individual acts and the 15-strong ensemble’s collective energy carry us along to an exhilarating trampoline finale.
