The head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, met on Tuesday with the head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, to review the country’s overall financial situation, focusing on revenues and expenditures. The meeting took place during Menfi’s visit to the Audit Bureau’s headquarters, where he was briefed on work mechanisms, oversight procedures, and the performance of the bureau’s various departments. According to the Presidential Council’s media office, discussions also covered the Audit Bureau’s oversight role, the challenges it faces in carrying out its duties, and its efforts to combat corruption, promote good governance, and ensure effective supervision and proper management of public resources.
