A massive search and rescue operation was carried by the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and fishermen community to locate 17 missing fishing crew, who were on-board a fishing vessel off Mumbai's coast. The fishermen, who were sailing on fishing boat Ram Dutta Sai went missing on the intervening night of Friday-Saturday due to sudden change in weather conditions and choppy seas. Search efforts were stepped up to locate the two divers and three remaining fishermen," said commander Rahul Sinha, spokesperson of Indian Navy.
