PETALING JAYA: PKR’s Tian Chua has welcomed Maria Chin Abdullah's (pic) intention to contest in the upcoming polls, but said the question of where the former Bersih 2.0 chairman will stand would have to be “worked out”. The Batu MP said that Pakatan Harapan wouldn't have problems in allocating a parliamentary seat for her to contest in as there are 222 to choose from. “This is something that we have to work out,” Tian Chua told The Star on Thursday. “Where to place (Maria Chin) is a technical issue. There had been much speculation earlier that Maria Chin was slated to replace either Tian Chua, whose real name is Chua Tian Chang, in the Batu parliamentary constituency or his party colleague Hee Loy Sian in Petaling Jaya Selatan.
