KLANG: Friends and family of marathon runner Evelyn Ang gathered at the Klang court complex on Friday to hold a protest against reckless driving. The group, including Ang's husband Dennis Loo, timed the protest to coincide with the trial of the driver who crashed in Ang and two other marathon runners during the Klang City International Marathon last December. He was initially charged under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving. However, he is now accused of causing death by reckless or dangerous driving under the same Act. His driving licence can also be suspended for not less than three years from the date he was charged.
