According to him, the NPP which had used corruption as their “biggest weapon” in campaigning against the John Mahama government back in 2016 should by now be touting some of its performances in fighting corruption. “Corruption was your biggest weapon against the Mahama administration in the 2016 election. He called out the party’s activists to compare their governments’ scores in fighting corruption against the incumbent and share the result. The Corruption Perceptions Index, an index published annually by Transparency International since 1995 ranks countries "by their perceived levels of public sector corruption, as determined by expert assessments and opinion surveys.
