In a statement, Tagoe said his attention has been drawn to the video reportedly created and shared by Samuel Nii Okantey, also known as Kpakpo Nii Gbemi. According to him, the video, presented as a literary parody, features simulated representations of former President Akufo-Addo, current President John Dramani Mahama, and former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. The parody also portrays President Mahama agreeing to send GH₵10,000, after which the former President is again depicted calling Dr Bawumia and demanding payment before relaying the message.
