At around 8-30 p.m., Dhanyashri was walking with her grandfather P. Arunagiri to a grocery shop nearby. Just as they were about to step into the shop, Siva, 30, living on the second floor above the departmental stores, fell on top of her. The building in Tondiarpet from where the man fell on the girl. Ironically, Siva suffered only a fracture on his left leg, as his fall was broken by the child.
