A man who secretly filming his flatmate getting changed has been discharged without conviction in the Palmerston North District Court. A man has been discharged without conviction for secretly filming his flatmate after she showered. Simon Martin Blackford, 22, hid a camera in the bedroom of his Palmerston North flatmate while she was changing last year, and he watched the footage he covertly collected. In September the other flatmate was using the camera and discovered the raw footage, and told her what Blackford had done. Through counselling Blackford had taken steps to ensure the incident wouldn't happen again.
