Bachchu Hawlader, 40, was arrested in front of the Saint Paul's School in Mongla town. Confirming the arrest on Friday, Mongla police station Officer-in-Charge Ikbal Bahar Chowdhury, said: "Acting on a tip-off that the listed poacher Bachchu Hawlader entered Sundarbans to hunt deer, police increased patrol in the region and detained him." OC Ikbal added that police are set to produce Bachchu in front of court on Saturday.
