Someone has died following a serious assault at an address on Arthur Crescent, TaupoPolice have launched a homicide investigation following a man’s death in Taupō. Officers responded to a serious assault on Arthur Crescent shortly after 11pm last night. A man at the address died shortly after officers arrived, a police spokesperson said. A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder. He will appear in the Rotorua District Court on Saturday 3 April 2021.
