Asked if the boys feel a certain pressure because of their parents' achievements, Adine nods. In December 2016, Adine was up on a ladder at their Mangawhai bach when she fell and broke her neck. "I can't explain why, but I never thought at the time that I'd broken my neck – you just don't think that. Jeff and Adine were married in 2004, and so are coming up to 17 years of marriage. Asked what the secret has been to their happy partnership, Adine says independence – from each other and from the children.
