Police have arrested a wanted man in New PlymouthA 21-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting in New Plymouth at the weekend was arrested after armed police surrounded a house in a quiet city suburb. Anthony Joel Heke was taken into custody on Wednesday afternoon during a police operation that saw armed officers surround a house in Tavistock St, Westown. Police were outside the Tavistock St house from 3.30-4.15pm and had cordoned off surrounding areas.
