ACC is proposing to make up to 300 staff redundant over the next 12 months as it implements a new operating model that will see work moved between offices. ACC ACC is banking on new technology and processes to help it manage an increase in claims, but that also involves reorganising where it employs some staff. ACC was offering "a good transfer package" for staff in offices that would shrink, Tully said. But overall, ACC would still need slightly more staff because of an increase in claims, Tully said. ACC had planned to begin consultations with staff on the changes on March 20 but delayed that following the terror attack in Christchurch, he said.
