A man who allegedly stole a mobile phone from a faithful at a crusade in Kakamega town will remain in custody. Juma on Tuesday pleaded guilty to stealing the mobile phone from Diana Misiko during the crusade at the Approved School in Kakamega on May 8. Kakamega senior resident magistrate Eric Malesi said Stanley Juma, 33, will be remanded until a report on his conduct is tabled in court. He was arrested by the public as he attempted to flee, and, handed to police at the Central police station in Kakamega. Juma prayed for leniency and vowed not to repeat the offence.
