The best chance fell to Jermaine Anderson just after the half-hour, but he somehow managed to screw his shot wide from close range after being teed up by Padraig Amond. In contrast, Maidenhead created next to nothing in the first 45 minutes playing up the hill at York Road but were more offensively minded side in the second half.
