Viewed as a young president, Ruto has successfully maanaged to ensure the finance bill which he supports has passed through the National Assembly successfully. According to MP Slyvanus Osoro, the Bill was set to pass even before it was presented in parliament. The majority whip has revealed the trick Ruto's government used to ensure that the bill passed. According to Osoro, parliament had a large number of MPs from UDA side and those supporting the government. The likes of ex-MP Kabando has declared his support for Raila's intitiative to call for more demonstrations to force President Ruto to bring down the cost of living.
