Principal magistrate Esther Boke issued the warrant on Wednesday when the Mwingi Central MP skipped court. A warrant for Joe Mutambo's arrest has been issued after his failure to appear in court for the hearing of an assault case. Police records indicate the assault arose after a misunderstanding over a lorry that Wahome had allegedly leased to Mutambu. The legislator allegedly assaulted Wahome on September 21 at his office on Muchai Drive in Kilimani, Nairobi county.
