Chinese owned British automobile brand MG Motor India has stopped taking any further bookings from customers for its first product Hector as the company wants to ensure customer satisfaction in different aspects of its operations. Hector received 21,000 bookings from June, 4, 2019, when the company started taking bookings from customers. “Our first product, MG Hector, has received an overwhelming response and we are unable to cater to such high initial demand. At present, Hector will compete with the likes of Fiat Chrysler’s Jeep Compass, Mahindra’s XUV 500 and Tata Motor’s Hexa. To create a niche for itself in the Indian market MG will also introduce its first electric vehicle in India after the launch if it first vehicle Hector.
