SHAH ALAM: Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali has a spinal injury and will be away from work for some time. Azmin said his neurosurgeon wanted him to undergo a month’s intensive physiotherapy. Selangor strategic communications director Yin Shao Loong said Azmin, who was excited by the arrival of his first grandchild, injured himself while lifting furniture in his home last week. Yin said Azmin was diagnosed with an annular tear of the spinal disc. “He is impatient to be back at work,” Yin said, adding that it would also depend on how well he recuperated.
