KUALA LUMPUR: Australia’s Cameron Pilley upset world No. 8 Nick Matthew of England to seal a place in the men’s quarter-finals of the Windy City Open in Chicago. The 35-year-old Pilley, ranked 20th in the world, won 11-8, 10-12, 11-8, 11-7 in 67 minutes on Saturday and will meet world No. Swedish Open champion Ali downed Ryan Cuskelly of Australia 11-6, 11-8, 11-5. Simon, who bagged the Tournament of Champions title in New York last month, faces fourth seed Marwan Elshorbagy of Egypt in the quarter-finals.
