KOTA BARU: Two brothers have been detained over a snatch theft case caught on a viral video that showed an elderly woman falling to the ground after having her bag wrested away from her. Police nabbed the suspects, aged 27 and 33, within an hour and a half of the incident following a tip-off. A witness gave the police the registration number of the car the suspects used to escape immediately after the 12.15pm incident. Police confirmed that the two brothers, who were nabbed in 2013 over another theft case, tested positive for methamphetamine. The two-minute video clip showed the 72-year-old woman falling down after the younger suspect snatched her bag.
