KUANTAN: Those who borrow money from illegal money lenders or loan sharks (Ah Long) need to know its consequences, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. The Deputy Prime Minister said that there were various reasons that drive them to borrow money illegally. On the meeting, Dr Ahmad Zahid, who is also Home Minister, said he was satisfied with the preparations made by the police for the coming general election. At a separate function, Dr Ahmad Zahid advised Barisan Nasional members to work hard and ensure that the coalition’s candidates would win the election, regardless of which component party they were from. He added that party members should ensure that Barisan continued to get the mandate to govern the country with a significant vic­tory.
