KUALA TERENGGANU: A total of 11,100 civil servants in Terengganu have signed the Corruption-Free pledge with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) so far. State MACC director Mohd Zaki Hassan said this makes Terengganu the state with the highest number of signatories involving civil servants in the country. “We are happy to announce that 46 government agencies involving 11,100 staff have taken the pledge so far,” he told reporters after witnessing the corruption-free pledge signing ceremony involving Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) staff at its campus here, today. Zaki said another 59 government agencies are waiting their turn to take the corruption-free pledge in the state. Present were State MACC deputy director Zainal Ayop, UniSZA vice-chancellor Dr Ahmad Zubaidi A. Latiff and state MACC senior officers.
