GEORGE TOWN: Sixty per cent of Gerakan’s candidates in the coming general election will comprise fresh faces. “A total of 60 per cent of the candidates will be fresh faces. Gerakan will contest in 12 parliamentary seats and 33 state seats,” he told a press conference today. He however, stressed that Gerakan must stay united in order to wrest Penang from Pakatan Harapan in the coming election. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had recently hinted that the 14th General Election will take place within the next 180 days.
