Lyon have released a statement in response to reports that Chelsea have submitted a bid for Moussa Dembele. Reports from Foot Mercato claim that Chelsea have already had a £34million bid turned away for the striker. Lyon have moved quickly to defuse any kind of speculation though, claiming they want to keep the forward at all costs. Their statement read: “Olympique Lyonnais has taken note of certain information relayed by the media suggesting that Moussa Dembele could interest other clubs during this transfer window.
